Disney On Ice performing in Lincoln

This is the first time the event has come to Lincoln. Guests are required to follow COVID-19 protocol and guidelines.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Disney on Ice is presenting “Mickey’s Search Party” this weekend at Pinnacle Bank Arena. If you’re interested in attending the event there are guidelines you should follow.

“The venue has asked that our audience members wear their masks,” tour coordinator DJ Weiss said. “We do this because our performers are unmasked in the rink. We are in a large, but small venue.”

Guests ages two and older are required to wear a face covering, even if you are vaccinated. If you do not have a mask, staff will provide you one. Guests can take off the mask when eating and drinking. Pinnacle Bank Arena will be open at 30 percent capacity for all the shows.

Disney on Ice will reduce seating to a “pod structure.” Pod seating has been created to help families and friends have a safe experience. It allows for social distancing from other groups. Full details on the guidelines can be found here.

Disney on Ice resumed in February. The group didn’t travel last year due to the pandemic. This year’s Mickey Mouse Search Party takes guests on an adventure and follows Captain Hook’s treasure map for clues to find Tinker Bell after he attempts to capture her magic. There is also performances involving characters from Pixar’s Coco, Disney’s Frozen, Toy Story, Aladdin, The Little Mermaid and more.

“It’s all very different and we’re very, very careful to maintain sensitization and distance protocol,” performer Melodee Clysdale said. “It’s just so great to get back on the ice.”

Disney on Ice will be in Lincoln from June 3-6. If you’re interested in purchasing tickets, click here.
