DLCC announces list of target races in Nebraska

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) —Today, the Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee (DLCC) announced their list of Target Races in Nebraska.

The DLCC is a campaign with the goal to elect Democrats to state legislatures.

“Our legislators in Nebraska are holding the line against extreme GOP proposals, including Republicans trying to upend election rules before the next presidential election. We have an immense opportunity this year to win crucial races and keep the Republican agenda in check,” DLCC President Heather Williams said. “Nebraskans deserve leaders who will address the GOP-caused affordability crisis and protect their rights, instead of playing political games and silencing voters. The DLCC is proud to support this group of strong candidates in Nebraska who are running on a vision of a better future for all Nebraskans.” 

According to the DLCC, they are working with the Nebraska Democratic Party to achieve their goals.

The list includes Cindy Johnson (LD-10), SuAnn Witt (LD-14), Jess Goldoni (LD-18) and John Frederickson (LD-20).

The DLCC said Nebraska is critical in preserving the Democrats’ federal power.
