Driver cited with DUI after rollover crash on O Street

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Yesterday, around 11 a.m., a crash involving two cars resulted in one rolled over near the intersection of 35th and O Street. One of the drivers was ejected from the vehicle.

The driver of a Chevrolet Cruz, 20-year-old Johny Johnson Jr., crashed into the rear of another vehicle causing it to flip.

According to Lincoln Police Department (LPD), Johnson’s blood alcohol content (BAC) was 0.077, along with being under the influence of cannabis.

LPD cited and released Johnson for driving under the influence, minor in possession, reckless driving, possession of marijuana, failure to use a seatbelt and refusing to submit a test.

One person involved in the crash was taken to the hospital for a minor injury.
