Drunk driver hits house and parked car in driveway

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — This morning, a pickup ran into a residential house, hitting a parked car in the driveway.

The driver was turning eastbound on South Street from South 28th Street when the rear of his vehicle began swerving.

The driver lost control of their vehicle and crashed into a residence on South Street.

The driver also hit the parked car in the driver. The driver was found to be under the influence of alcohol, blowing a .175 blood alcohol content level. The driver was cited and released.

There was $20,000 worth of damage to the house and the parked car was totaled.
