Drunk man arrested for threatening Lincoln officers with BB gun

Lincoln Police arrested a man after he reportedly threatened his girlfriend and officers with a BB gun while drunk.

Officers responded to a home near 14th Street and West Plum Street around 11:30 a.m. Tuesday on reports of a man with a gun.

A victim said her boyfriend, Dallas Noah, 58, was threatening to shoot her.

Noah had reportedly been drinking for several days and was threatening to shoot anyone who came to the door, Lincoln Police spokeswoman Angela Sands said.

Officers spokes to Noah on the phone for about 40 minutes, during which time he threatened to shoot them, Sands said.

Eventually, he agreed to come outside the home with the gun and was arrested for terroristic threats and use of a weapon to commit a felony.

The gun was found to be a realistic looking Crosman SNR .357 revolver, Sands said.

Noah’s BAC tested at .345.
