Dry & warmer today 5/3/2022
We will be slightly warmer today, but still below average, with highs in the upper 50s and dry conditions. Sunshine will try to peek through the clouds during the second half of the day, but this will be short-lived. Mostly cloudy skies return overnight and temperatures drop to the low 40s. Clouds continue to hang around for your Wednesday, but scattered rain eventfully moves into the area by the afternoon. This rain will continue all day, overnight and continue throughout your entire Thursday. Another inch or more of rain is possible through Thursday with temperatures still well below average. We finally start to warm on Friday with highs back in the upper 60s and eventually 70s on Saturday. Mother’s Day looks warm with highs in the upper 70s and 80s, but scattered rain chances and wind return.
