Eagle pumpkin patch hosts fall event for dogs

EAGLE, Neb.  (KLKN) – Summer is over, but that does not mean that family and dog events are.

Pearson’s Pumpkin Place in Eagle partnered with the Capital Humane Society on Friday to host a pumpkin patch event for dogs.

“We thought how fun it would be to bring dogs to a pumpkin patch,” owner Alex Pearson said.

The event, Pumpkins and Paws, offered fall photo shoot opportunities, water stations, live music, multiple fall activities and vendors for the four-legged family members.

The admission charge of $5 per dog will be donated to the humane society.

Pearson’s Pumpkin Place will host a second Paws and Pumpkins event on Friday, Oct. 7, starting at 4 p.m.

Families are invited to attend and bring their dogs.
