Early ballots on their way to Nebraska

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Early ballot applications are on their way to Nebraska voters!

“For voters who have concerns about voting at the polls in November, an early ballot request for a mail-in ballot is a good option,” said Secretary of State Bob Evnen. “Anyone who wishes to vote early should request their ballot as soon as possible.”

The first round of ballots will be mailed out Monday, Sept. 28, to voters who requested an early ballot. The deadline to request an early ballot is Friday, Oct. 23. The United States Postal Service recommends you return your early ballot through the mail by Tuesday, Oct. 27.

Voters also have the option of going to the polls to vote. Polls will be opened for the General Election Tuesday, Nov. 3.
