LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — With holiday travel comes longer lines and fewer empty seats.   This year, Eppley Airfield in Omaha is expecting more Thanksgiving travelers than in the years before the covid-19 pandemic.

The busiest day for the airport will be next Monday, as travelers return home.

This Wednesday and Tuesday will also be quite busy.

Eppley officials ask travelers to plan extra time to get through security and have extra patience during these peak travel days.

Using TSA PreCheck, which costs $70 for a five-year membership, can reduce the time and stress of airport security.
