Eric Crouch being inducted into College Football Hall of Fame

The former Husker quarterback and Heisman winner is a member of the 2020 induction class being honored Tuesday night in Las Vegas.

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (KLKN) – Former Nebraska football quarterback and 2001 Heisman winner Eric Crouch is being inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame on Tuesday night at the National Football Foundation dinner in Las Vegas.

Crouch is a member of the 2020 induction class that is being honored in addition to the 2021 class Tuesday evening. Crouch is one of 29 players and three coaches being honored at the ceremony.

According to a press release, Crouch is the 19th Huskers to be inducted into the Hall of Fame. He joins Aaron Taylor (2018), Trev Alberts (2015), Tommie Frazier (2013), Will Shields (2011), Grant Wistrom (2009) and Mike Rozier (2006).

The NFF Annual Awards dinner will be streamed on ESPN3 starting at 7:00 p.m. PT. The 2020 Hall of Fame Class will begin at at 9 p.m. PT.
