Father and son killed in crash outside Jefferson County school
Authorities have identified a father and son as the victims of a deadly crash in Jefferson County.
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Authorities have identified a father and son as the victims of a deadly crash in Jefferson County.
The crash happened Tuesday morning at the intersection of 725 Road and Hwy. 103 near the Tri County School.
The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office has identified the victims as 51-year-old Michael Taylor of DeWitt and his 16-year-old son, whose name was not released.
The other driver, a 34-year-old man from Wilber, was not injured.
JCSO says Taylor failed to yield and the vehicles collided at the intersection.
Authorities say heavy fog in the area had led to very poor visibility at the time of the crash.
