VIDEO: FBI search warrant turned fatal shootout, investigation ongoing

SUNRISE, Fla. (WPLG) — Two are dead and several injured following a Florida shooting involving the FBI.

Shots were first fired around 6 a.m. Tuesday morning near a residence in Sunrise. A team of FBI agents was attempting to execute a federal court-ordered search warrant for a case concerning violent crimes against children.

Two FBI agents were fatally shot, with three wounded. Two of the wounded agents were taken to a local hospital in stable condition.

The subject of the search warrant was also pronounced dead.

A separate FBI division is currently reviewing the circumstance of this search warrant and shoot out. The investigation is still ongoing.
