Feeling more like a June weekend than Easter weekend
Sunny skies sticking around through at least the first half of the weekend. It will feel more like early June than April this weekend. Afternoon temperatures will be running 15 to 20 above normal, meaning highs will reach the upper 70°s to around 80° Saturday. This could be Lincoln’s first 80 day of the year!
Clear skies will prevail Saturday night in to Sunday morning. Conditions will be dry for Sunday morning Easter Egg Hunts. Sunrise is at 7:04 a.m. Sunday.
Skies should remain mainly sunny for the first half of Sunday. By afternoon, mid to high level clouds may start to overspread central Nebraska. A few computer models are hinting at a chance for a few showers developing by early evening Sunday. The air mass should remain relatively dry through the weekend, so I am not sold on rain moving in to the area Sunday, but you will want to check back for later forecasts.
