Fire tears through RV, leaving two people without a home in Lancaster County

It also sent black smoke high into the air that could be seen from several blocks away

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Fire quickly tore through an old RV this morning sending thick smoke high into the air.

This happened at a Lancaster County property near southwest 44th and west A Street just before 9 a.m.

Officials tell us the two people living in the RV will not be able to return as it’s destroyed.

At first one of them couldn’t be located, leaving everyone fearing the worst.

But authorities later found out that person had left as soon as the fire started.

There’s no word just yet on what sparked this morning’s blaze that people could see from several blocks away.
