Florida linebacker Chief Borders transfers to Nebraska

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Nebraska football got another transfer from Florida on Tuesday.
Chief Borders, who has spent the last two seasons with the Gators, announced that he is coming to Nebraska in a Twitter post.
The Georgia native appeared in 12 games last season, mostly spending time on special teams. He recorded his first career tackle against Georgia on Oct. 29.

Before coming to Florida, Borders was a four-star recruit, according to 247Sports.
Defensive back Corey Collier Jr., who also spent the last two seasons with the Gators, announced his transfer to Nebraska over the weekend.
