LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Due to record high inflation, nearly all of us are feeling the impact of spikes at the gas pump and grocery store. Food Bank of Lincoln says people in poverty are feeling these impacts even more.

These increases may mean the Food Bank of Lincoln will need to modify the amount or variety of food they are able to put into neighbors’ hands.

Here are ways you can help:

  • Donate Food or Personal Care Items: Donated items can be dropped off at all Edward Jones locations in the Food Bank of Lincoln’s service area or brought to the Food Bank of Lincoln at 4840 Doris Bair Circle
  • Donate Funds: With every dollar donated, Food Bank of Lincoln can provide nourishing meals for neighbors facing hunger
  • Donate Time: Volunteer with the Food Bank of Lincoln
