Winter Weather Advisory and more snow Sunday

SATURDAY: A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY has been issued for the central and eastern portions of Nebraska from 9PM Saturday until 3PM Sunday.  After receiving 4″ of snow throughout Saturday morning, clouds will build overnight delivering another round of snow showers Sunday. Temperatures will fall to -2° overnight as an arctic airmass settles in, chilling our temperatures to dangerously cold levels all week. With an easterly breeze of 5-10mph, wind chill values of -20° are possible, allowing frostbite to develop in under 30 minutes.

SUNDAY: Cold conditions remain on Sunday as temperatures climb to only 9°! Snow showers continue throughout the day, delivering an additional 2-4″ of snow. Thankfully this will continue to be a light, fluffy snow, however slick road conditions will persist as temperatures dip into the negative values yet again overnight. A third round of light snowfall arrives Sunday evening into Monday morning.
