Former No. 2 Texas drops to No. 9 after the Husker volleyball team sweeps in Las Vegas

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) released its recent rankings, leaving Nebraska in the No. 1 spot.

The new rankings proceed the Nebraska and Texas matchup last night in Las Vegas. The Cornhuskers swept the Longhorns 3-0.

Texas had been previously ranked No. 2. Now, Pittsburgh holds that spot.

Texas is now ranked No. 9.

Along with Nebraska Huskers being ranked No. 1, Creighton Bluejays rose to being ranked No. 10.
