Lenhardt previously committed to Nebraska in August but decommitted less than a month later after Nebraska fired defensive coordinator Erik Chinander.
Nebraska reoffered a scholarship to Lenhardt on Dec. 1 and brought him to campus as part of a major official visit weekend.
Lenhardt said the relationship he built with the Huskers’ new staff helped influence his recommitment.
