In addition to the previously mentioned hazards, flash flooding will be possible for areas that saw significant rainfall on Thursday as more precipitation moves through the region. A Flood Watch is in place until 7 a.m. CDT on Saturday, June 6.
Forecast:
It will be another hot day ahead for the start of the weekend in southeast Nebraska, with highs expected in the upper 80s and lower 90s.
We cannot rule out a stray shower or two during the peak heating of the day on Saturday, but otherwise expect partly sunny skies in Lincoln.
