Friday Evening Weather Update; October 9, 2020

TONIGHT:  Clear skies and comfortable temperatures.  Lows will be in the 50°s.  Lincoln Low Temperature: 55°

SATURDAY:  Sunny skies and warm.  Temperatures will top out in the lower 80°s.  Winds will gust at times to 20 mph out of the east.  Lincoln High Temperature: 83°

SUNDAY:  Warm and windy.  High temperatures will be in the middle to upper 80°s.  Winds will be strong out of the south, gusting 30-40 mph.  Lincoln High Temperature: 87°

Clouds will increase late in the day as a cold front sweeps through the state.  Showers and thunderstorms are possible along and just ahead of the cold front.  The best chance for rain will be in the eastern third of the state.

While widespread severe thunderstorms is not expected a few strong thunderstorms could be possible Sunday night.  Be sure to check back for updated forecasts from Meteorologist Liz Whalley through the weekend.
