Frost and players talk offense ahead of Saturday’s open practice

Scott Frost spoke to the media after practice Monday updating the offensive play so far this spring and the Huskers' new additions.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Head coach Scott Frost and several players spoke with the media Monday morning ahead of Saturday’s open practice. Offense was a big topic of today’s discussion as  Frost talked about the development at the quarterback and wide receivers position.

Offensive linebacker Garrett Nelson and cornerback Cam Taylor-Britt both said the offense has seen improvements this off season, specially stating how fast these players are.

Today was also the first time media talked with Montana transfer Samori Toure and how he has adjusted to the wide receiver position at Nebraska.

“So far it’s been everything I was hoping for,” Toure said. “It’s been a smooth transition.”

The Huskers open practice is April 17th starting approximately at 2:45 p.m.
