Gage County COVID-19 cases jump to 23 | Lancaster County reports more cases

The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases jumped in Gage County on Tuesday.

According to the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services, there are now 23 cases in Gage County.

No additional details were immediately available regarding those cases.

In Lancaster County, officials reported an additional three cases Tuesday, bringing the total number to 34.

Two of the new cases are men in their 40s, and both cases are community acquired.  The third case is a man in his 50s, and it is under investigation.

Of the 34 total cases, 18 are travel related, 13 are community acquired, and three are under investigation.

There are 447 cases in Nebraska, according to DHHS.
