Georgia offensive lineman Jacob Hood transfers to Nebraska

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Nebraska picked up its third transfer from Georgia in a week.

Jacob Hood, who spent his freshman season at Georgia, made the announcement Monday via Twitter.

Hood, an offensive lineman, didn’t see any playing time in 2022 and has four years of eligibility remaining.

The Tennessee native was a four-star recruit coming out of high school, according to 247Sports.

Hood is Nebraska’s third Georgia transfer, joining tight end Arik Gilbert and linebacker Mekhail Sherman, who committed last week.

The 6-foot-8, 350-pound lineman joins a long list of offseason transfers, including Jeff Sims, Chief Borders and Ben Scott.
