Give to Lincoln Day 2019 hopes to beat 2018 donation record

Give to Lincoln Day 2019 is in full swing.

More than 400 non-profits have registered for Lincoln and Lancaster County’s biggest day of giving.

Around 70 of these non-profits will be set up in Tower Square at 13 & P Streets from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with activities set up for donors to come check out.

The Lincoln Community Foundation is hoping to surpass last year’s record of $4.6 million.

“Come on Lincoln, let’s give our non-profits a hug, get online, come down, let’s make this a record breaking day!” said Barbara Bartle, president of the Lincoln Community Foundation.

You can make donations to the non-profit of your choice online here until midnight or in person at the Tower Square from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., the Lincoln Community Foundation headquarters at 215 Centennial Mall South from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., or at the West Gate Bank location on 66 & Old Cheney during business hours.

Every donation will also get a proportional share of a $450,000 match fund made possible by LCF and sponsors.
