Gloomy Start to the Work Week, Scattered Showers

Overcast skies will stick around through the start of the work week, which will keep temperatures close to constant for most of Monday. Expect highs to reach the middle 60s, with spot showers and few rumbles of thunder possible.

Patchy areas of fog are expected to develop on Monday morning as well. Reduced visibility is expected to begin during the overnight hours, though could linger through the morning commute for some locations.

Chances for showers and thunderstorms will be fairly scattered for the start of the work week. Above is the latest run of StormCast, showing scattered chances of precipitation throughout the day on Monday.

Df Forecast Lows Statewide

Overnight lows for most will drop to the 50s and 60s as we kickstart the work week. Fall continues to creep into the forecast, with forecast low temperatures in the 40s possible for the panhandle.

Mostly cloudy skies will help keep temperatures up through the overnight hours in Lincoln. We start Monday morning with a chance for fog and drizzle alongside temperatures in the lower 60s.

Df State Tomorrow High

Highs will struggle on Monday, especially north of Insterstate 80. Our temperatures will range from the upper 50s to lower 70s through Monday afternoon.

Monday features highs in the middle 60s for the Capital City under mostly cloudy skies. A stray shower or two remains possible throughout the day, though expect more dry moments than anything.

Df 10 Day Forecast

The autumnal equinox is on Tuesday and the forecast looks the part through the end of the month. Highs continue in the 60s and 70s, with chances for showers back in the forecast late this week and into the weekend.
