Gov. Ricketts announces revisions to Nebraska Medical Center’s DHM
NMC will cease operating under a crisis standard of care on Monday, Feb. 7, in response the DHM will now end on that date at 9:00 a.m.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Gov. Pete Ricketts announced that the Department of Health and Human Services revised Nebraska Medical Center’s Directed Health Measure to end earlier than scheduled.
NMC will cease operating under a crisis standard of care on Monday, Feb. 7, in response the DHM will now end on that date at 9:00 a.m.
The DHM suspended Class C, D, and E inpatient and outpatient surgeries (pre-scheduled, non-emergency medical surgeries) at NMC in Omaha.
The DHM had originally been scheduled to remain in place through Feb. 13.
