Grand Island man suspected of possessing child pornography

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A Grand Island man has been arrested as the result of a child exploitation investigation.

The Nebraska State Patrol says Andrew Alcala, 21, was arrested Monday on suspicion of possession of child pornography.

The arrest comes more than three months after investigators with the patrol worked with Homeland Security Investigations to execute a search warrant at a Grand Island home.

The investigation remains ongoing.
