Grand Island Police respond to report of gunshots

The Grand Island Police Department (GIPD) responded to a report of gunshots at 5th Street and N. Darr Ave on Wednesday night.

A sergeant with GIPD said they received a call around 9 p.m. on reports of three or four gunshots in the 500 block of N. Darr Ave.

Upon arrival, they said they found shell casings in the area.

Neighbors reported the gunshots were connected to a white four-door sedan.

GIPD said there were no injuries.

They currently have no suspects at this time.
