Great outdoor weather this weekend 1/28/2022

Temperatures are on the colder side this morning with most of the area currently sitting in the single digits and teens. Wind chill values are subzero and in the single digits as well, so make sure to bundle up before you head out the door. Temperatures warm much slower today thanks to cloud coverage that will gradually decrease into the afternoon and evening. Highs will reach the upper 30s and low 40s for most with mostly sunny skies by the evening. Temperatures drop into the low 20s with mostly clear skies tonight, but quickly warm up into the weekend. Highs reach the mid-50s on Saturday before we cool down a bit on Sunday to the low 50s. Conditions remain dry through the weekend and things turn breeze on Saturday. This increases the potential for fire weather on Saturday and a Fire Weather Watch will be in effect tomorrow from 11AM to 6PM as a result. An arctic blast will take us into the first few days of February bringing colder air and the chance for snow.
