Heisman Trophy winner Mike Rozier, ESPN Anchor Neil Everett, and the Heisman trophy visit Lincoln

Outside of Memorial Stadium ESPN brought the Heisman house to the Ed Wier Track for Husker fans to enjoy before the Nebraska-Michigan State game.

The Heisman House brought ESPN anchor Neil Everett, the actual Heisman trophy, and 1983 Heisman trophy winner Mike Rozier.

For Mike Rozier coming back to Lincoln is always an amazing experience.

“I love the fans here the people in Nebraska,” Rozier said.

Neil Everett has been an ESPN anchor since 2009, and coming to Lincoln for a Huskers gameday is one of his favorite college football environments.

“It’s a great atmosphere and we’ve been all around the country and this is one of the best atmospheres and it’s a great atmosphere after the win as well,’ Everett said.

Mike Rozier also talked about how he has great faith that Scott Frost can bring Nebraska back to those old winning days.

“The future is great. Scott played here.” Rozier said “Scott knows what the fans expect from him and he knows he wants to win, he wants to change the program. He’s got a chance to make history because the program has been messed up for a while so I’m pretty sure he will change the program he’s going to do a good job.”
