High School Football: Lincoln Northeast blanks Lincoln East in second half, comes back to win 20-13 in Week 1 clash
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Lincoln Northeast Rockets blanked Lincoln East in the second half to win a Week One showdown 20-13 Thursday night at Seacrest Field.
Northeast (1-0) started the scoring off in the second quarter as Zayne Scully tossed a touchdown pass to Kaleb Poulsen, giving the Rockets a 7-0 advantage. From there, the Spartans (0-1) would score the next 13 points heading into halftime.
After that, it was all Rockets the remainder of the game, scoring 13 unanswered themselves to grab the win.
