Hot & Windy Through Tuesday
A HOT & windy day across Nebraska! SW winds 10-15 mph with gusts up to 30+ mph. State highs reaching the 80s & low 90s under sunny skies! Critical fire weather will be a concern starting today.
High temperatures will range from the 80s to the 90s this afternoon. The hottest temperatures will occur farther NW into parts of the sandhills.
SW winds will begin gusting to 25–30 mph after lunchtime and continue through the overnight hours.
Feeling sick or have the sniffles? Grass & tree pollen will stay HIGH over the next several days. Breezy winds will assist with this high pollen count.
A hot, breezy & dry next few days! Wednesday will be the best day to enjoy outside as winds will be light. Into the weekend, another quick heat wave moves in, bringing some rain and storm chances Saturday & Sunday evening. That will all be associated with our next cool down going into next week!
