A HOT day across Nebraska under mostly sunny skies! High temperatures ranging from 92° – 100° with dew points in the 50s & 60s. The “lesser” dew points will make it easier to heat up by the peak afternoon.
Heat index values across eastern Nebraska will range from 98° – 105°!
SW winds will be breezy across NW & eastern Nebraska. Gusts up to 25-30 mph. Winds really pick up Thursday!
The HEAT ADVISORY is still in effect through Thursday evening across SE Nebraska. Feel like temperatures between 103° – 108°.
A HOT & windy start to September! Thursday morning brings small rain chances in SE Nebraska before turning hot & windy. Next week looks to start hot, but with a few decent chances for rain & storms due to a cold front. Some cooldown & RELIEF still looks to come near mid to late September.
