How to help Kentucky, Tennessee tornado victims
Some helpful ways people can assist those affected by the deadly tornadoes in Kentucky, Tennessee, Illinois, Arkansas and Missouri.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Here are some helpful ways people can assist those affected by the deadly tornadoes in Kentucky, Tennessee, Illinois, Arkansas and Missouri.
The tornadoes that swept through Kentucky and four other states have left some without homes and power. Organizations have created donation funds to help those in need.
- Team Western Kentucky Tornado Relief Fund – Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear created the fund to assist those impacted by the tornadoes.
- American Red Cross – A donation can be made to the Red Cross Disaster Relief.
- CARE – CARE set up a fund to help victims get families food, water and emergency cash vouchers.
- Feeding America, Kentucky’s Heartland – Feeding America asks for donations to help provide food assistance to those affected by the tornadoes.
FEMA has already created a support base in Fort Campbell, Ky. to help deploy personnel and supplies in the area as needed.
So far, FEMA has provided fifty-two generators, 30,000 meals, 45,000 liters of water, cots, blankets, infant toddler kits and medical equipment and supplies. FEMA also opened 11 shelters in Kentucky and three in Tennessee.
