LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Watching a Husker football game inside of Memorial Stadium can be an experience like no other, but it can come with a cost.

If you are looking to save some money, try buying your tickets on other websites such as StubHub, Eventbrite or Vivid Seats.

When you secure your tickets, parking comes next. There are usually parking lots around town that offer cheaper rates; get there early so you can find a spot. Memorial Stadium gates open 90 minutes before kickoff.

If you would rather be in the parking garage, you can reserve multiple spaces in advance on the City of Lincoln website. Parking for people with disabilities is available for $25 per vehicle on a first-come, first-served basis in the Lot 9 parking garage at the corner of Salt Creek Roadway and North 14th Street.

Nebraska has a clear bag policy for all ticketed sporting events. Take advantage of this policy by bringing any necessities you may need such as your phone, wallet, credit card, etc. Guests can also carry personal items in their pockets or jackets; this would include keys, makeup, feminine products, etc.

You can also bring blankets into the stadium, just carry them over your shoulder or arm.
