How to support Tabitha’s Meals on Wheels program

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN)- Tabitha’s Meals on Wheels program is rolling into its 56th year. The program turns no one away, regardless of their ability to pay for meals; instead they supplement through generous donations.

JP Lauterbach, Tabitha Foundation’s Development Director, says you can make a difference in someone’s life by making a donation or volunteering today.

A pool of 1,000 volunteers deliver to 45 routes each day and 500 Lincoln residents rely on this daily delivery. According to a press release, 82% report the Tabitha Meals on Wheels volunteer is the only person they see that day.
