LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — In a statement released on Twitter, Nebraska football coach Scott Frost said he tested positive for COVID-19. Frost said he only has mild symptoms at this time and will be isolating at home while working remotely.

This comes as players return to campus this week to start winter conditioning. Frost said he knows the coaching staff will do a great job in leading the team during his absence.

Once fully cleared with health and safety protocols, Frost will re-join the team as soon as possible.
