LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Nebraska men’s basketball team had an eight-point lead in the first half but then the offense sputtered as the Huskers lost to No. 21 Wisconsin on Wednesday in Lincoln, 61-48. It’s Nebraska’s 25th-straight conference loss.
The Huskers fell to 4-11 overall and 0-8 in Big Ten play. The Big Red led the Badgers, 22-14, with 10:01 remaining in the first half. But then Nebraska was outscored 25-9 over the next nearly 16 minutes of game time.
Lat Mayen led the way with 14 points while Teddy Allen added 12 points in his return to the starting lineup.
NU hosts No. 6 Illinois on Friday starting at 8 p.m. on BTN.
