Husker running back Jaquez Yant enters transfer portal
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A Husker running back has placed his name in the transfer portal.
Jaquez Yant, who just finished his sophomore season at Nebraska, made the announcement via Twitter on Thursday.

Yant said he made the decision because of the coaching changes in the last year.

In his freshman season, Yant played in seven games, picking up 294 rushing yards and a touchdown.
The Florida native didn’t see many snaps in 2022, only racking up 56 yards and two touchdowns.
Yant joins a long list of Husker players who have entered the transfer portal, which opened on Monday.
The Huskers have also seen some recruits decommitting, including four-star commits Malachi Coleman and Omarion Miller.
