LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Despite leading by three at halftime, Nebraska men’s basketball couldn’t secure their first conference win of the season over the Illini.

Freshman Bryce McGowens led the Huskers with 19 points while Derrick Walker and Alonzo Verge each added 14.

Nebraska is back in action on Friday in West Lafayette to face No. 7 Purdue at 5:30 p.m. Highlights from tonight’s contest above.
