Huskers pack holiday boxes for people in need

Boxes included hygiene products and even fun items such as footballs.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Huskers’ offensive line is packing holiday boxes full of hygiene, school and clothing essentials for people in need.

Players load the boxes with soap, socks and pencils, they even included soccer balls and footballs for some extra fun.

Riley Moses, an offensive lineman for the Huskers, said he hopes the event becomes a permanent fixture as it serves as a great bonding experience for the team and a positive message to the community.
