Inmate missing from Community Corrections Center-Omaha

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Authorities are searching for a missing inmate from the Community Corrections Center-Omaha.

Troy Hollins removed his electronic monitoring device Sunday evening near the prison, according to the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services.

Hollins is described as a 25-year-old Black male. He is 6-foot-4 and 185 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

He began a 15-to-20-year sentence for attempted robbery out of Douglas County on Dec. 22, 2015. Hollins had a parole hearing scheduled for June 2023 with a tentative release date of March 19, 2026.

Anyone with information regarding Hollins’ whereabouts should contact local authorities or the Nebraska State Patrol.
