Investigation ongoing for possible murder-suicide in Osmond

PIERCE COUNTY, Neb. (KLKN) — Around 7 a.m. this morning, Pierce County Sheriff’s Office (PSO) received a call reporting two possible deceased persons north of Osmond.

Upon arrival, officers with PSO and the Nebraska State Patrol found the two reported deceased persons. Both had a single gunshot wound.

They were identified as Ashley Moes, 34, and Jordan Moes, 37.

According to PSO, the preliminary investigation shows that Ashley Moes died from a gunshot wound and Jordan Moes died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Autopsies are scheduled for tomorrow and the investigation is ongoing.
