Judge says AJ Ferrari is a ‘flight risk’ during arraignment
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — AJ Ferrari was arrested by Douglas County officials on Tuesday, July 6. Today, July 8, Ferrari had an arraignment.
Ferrari was arrested on warrants of three felonies: domestic violence assault, false imprisonment and assault by strangulation/suffocation of a pregnant woman. The victim filed for a protection order against Ferrari.
At the arraignment, prosecutors asked for his bond to be set at $250,000. Ultimately, the judge set Ferrari’s bond at $200,000, which means he’d have to pay 10% of that to be released on bond. Along with that, other conditions of his bond include no contact with the victim.
The court said they consider him a flight risk.
His court date is set for Aug. 13 at 10 a.m.
