Keith County announces first confirmed case of COVID-19
The Southwest Nebraska Public Health Department (SWNPHD) announced the first confirmed case of COVID-19 in Keith County.
The resident was a 50-year-old female, who had self isolated during her illness around the end of March to early April. She has since recovered. and officials say her case is likely to be community spread.
Those who had been in contact with the Keith County resident have not shown symptoms.
This brings the total to 11 confirmed cases for SWNPHD, now with four in Furnas County, four in Red Willow County, one in Frontier County, one in Hitchcock County, and this recovered case in Keith County.
