Kingsmen Cruise Around Lincoln

The cruise raised money for a charity that supports children with cancer and their families.

LINCOLN, NE (KLKN) – The Kingsmen Car Club hosted their second annual cruise around Lincoln on Saturday, bringing car enthusiasts from across the state together to support a good cause.

“Kind of the whole theme throughout has just been promoting the car community and also giving back to the community. This is our second annual cruise/party and we always find a charity to donate to,” said Jason Brum, Kingsmen Car Club.

At this year’s event, the money raised will be donated to “Fighting All Monsters”, a charity dedicated to supporting children with cancer and their families.

The cruise stopped at several locations throughout Lincoln, ending the day with a “hot rod” themed auction, food and live music.

“It’s nothing but a good time for all car people, and that’s what we want you to have, is a good time here and we want to see you back next year,” said Robert Timmerman, Kingsmen Car Club.

The Kingsmen hope to keep the cruise for charity going for years to come.

At just the auction this year, over $4,000 was raised for charity.
