KLKN’s 3rd Annual School Drive arrives next week

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Our third annual school drive is taking place next week on Thursday, July 30 right here in our parking lot.

We are partnering with Lincoln Public Schools to make sure each student has the supplies to be successful during the school year.

We will be accepting all donations from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on July 30.

“With nearly half of Lincoln Public Schools students on free or reduced lunch, it is apparent that some families really need this right now,” said Rod Fowler, our evening anchor. “If we can lessen that burden even by a little bit, then we’ve accomplished our goal.”
