Kwik Shop Employee Tests Positive for COVID-19

The store will be closed for a few days for cleaning.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A Kwik Shop team member in Lincoln has tested positive for COVID-19 and the store is temporarily closed to clean the store from top to bottom.

Kwik Shop released an official statement today saying that they are following guidance from local health authorities and taking all appropriate steps. At 8 p.m. Tuesday, November 3rd, the store at 4750 Calvert Street was closed to be cleaned by an industrial cleaning team.

One of Kwik Shop’s Team Members at our 4750 Calvert Street, Lincoln, NE location has informed us that they have tested positive for Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19). We are taking all appropriate steps following guidance from local health officials. We closed the store at 8:00 PM (EST) on Tuesday, November 3rd to be cleaned and sanitized by an industrial cleaning crew. The store will re-open in the next few days. We are grateful to all our customers for their patience and understanding during this time.

All Team Members who work at the store have been contacted and advised to follow CDC-recommended guidelines. We are making every effort to provide the affected Team Member and our broader team with the necessary resources and support.
