LAA hosting annual Spay-ghetti and No Balls fundraiser
Lincoln Animal Ambassadors is hosting their 7th annual Spay-ghetti and No Balls fundraiser.
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN)- Lincoln Animal Ambassadors is hosting their 7th annual Spay-ghetti and No Balls fundraiser on Saturday, October 8 at 6:00 p.m. It will be held at the Unitarian Church, east of Pius High School. Dinner will include spaghetti, salad and breadsticks. Wine and beer will also be available for purchase.
Matt Madcharo, Executive Director of the Capital Humane Society, will be the featured speaker and will talk about the new Pawsitive Impact Program and other positive changes at the shelter and the adoption center.
At the end of the night, desserts donated by local businesses will be auctioned off. Tickets for this event can be purchased at the door, or by clicking here.
LAA is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization funded entirely by donations and fundraisers that continues to sponsor a low-cost neuter/spay program as well as a ‘Temporary Assistance Pet Food Bank.’
Since LAA started 15 years ago, there have been over 3,600 dogs and cats altered through the program and over 600,000 pounds of food and kitty litter to dogs and cats in the Lincoln and Lancaster County area.
